Krista Sheneman is a time-based sculptural artist who explores identity through collection, health, and memory. Krista grew up on the bluffs of the mighty Mississippi in Memphis, TN. Although the accent is gone, she still considers herself a southerner at heart.

During April of 2022, Krista walked more than 470 miles from Cincinnati, OH to Memphis, TN. This journey allowed her to investigate the concept of home through identity and collection. Krista will be debuting new sculptures and performance relics. Please feel free to walk alongside her June 9th at 6pm. This walk from Art Academy of Cincinnati to Pique Gallery should take about 50 minutes
